Whether you are looking to fill every waking moment of your holiday with activities or just relax in peace and tranquillity, the choice is yours! Convieniently situated midway between Tours and Poitiers both of which have airports with flights from London operated by budget airline Ryanair, we are to be found just outside the sleepy village of Cussay, which offers a boulangerie, post office; children?s fishing lake and an excellent Michelin rated restaurant. Five minutes travel in either direction will bring you into our neighbouring villages of Descartes and Ligueil.

Your home away from home comprises: Two comfortable double bedrooms, one of which has
en-suite shower room and is conveniently situated on the ground floor and the other, an
exceptionally large double bedroom, has plenty of space for baby as well, with the use of
its' own shower room. The twin room also boasts en-suite facilities.
|
The fully fitted kitchen area has dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge/freezer,
hob and oven. The living area leads out to an enclosed private garden for peace of mind -
where you can let the little ones enjoy some fresh air whilst you finish getting ready for
the day. BBQ and garden furniture are provided and beyond your garden is about 2 acres of
open ?tamed? space, where you will find a new children?s play area, swings, slide, trikes,
bikes and balls. There are also several adults? bikes available so that the whole family
can view the local surroundings at a more leisurely pace. Indoors there is a television
and video and a wide selection of children?s videos, books and toys are available if the
weather should be inclement!

All beds will be freshly changed and ready for occupation ? let?s face it, the last thing
you want to do upon arrival is start making up beds ? and there?s no extra charge. Cot,
baby bath and high chair will be provided upon request.
|
To the front in the main courtyard is a large boules area, floodlit for nocturnal players,
complete with seating and tables for those who wish to make a full evening?s
entertainment. The gite is available all year and is fully heated for the cooler months at
a charge of 50 euros per week. And last but not least, if you fancy a romantic evening
out, we would be happy to arrange babysitting for you.

Things to do: Golf: There are 9 and 18 hole golf courses at La Roche Posay which are
challenging for both novice and experienced golfers and an 18 hole course at Vermueil-sur-
Indre Chateaux: This is an excellent area for chateaux, including Chinon, Loches,Amboise,
Azay le Rideau, Chenonceau, Villandry, Langeais, Blois, Chambord, Rigny Ussy (apparently
the inspiration for ?Sleeping Beauty?), Valencay and Montresor. Some chateaux also perform
Son et Lumiere shows during certain evenings of the holiday season Futuroscope: An
excellent day out for all the family, about 50 minutes away, Futuroscope gives you the
magic of 3D, virtual reality simulator rides, and circular cinemas together with a glimpse
into the future of communication technology Tours: The Touraine capital city, is full of
history and art and the old town boasts cobbled streets and charming medieval buildings.
For those of you who like to shop, the new part of the city has plenty of choice Plus much

Long lets available at discounted rates. All prices are per week, Saturday to Saturday
1600 hrs arrival, 1000 hrs departure (unless otherwise agreed) Price includes: cooking
gas, electricity (except for winter heating), bed linen As payment is made in advance you
should ensure that you have adequate holiday insurance cover in the event of a
cancellation. Deposit of 20% payable at time of booking with final payment to be made 8
weeks prior to commencement of holiday. Damage deposit of £200 payable with final balance
to be refunded in part or full within 14 days of departure as appropriate.
