The house
The house, formally a wine merchants house has been comfortably renovated to provide a
homely base for your holiday you will be able to have full use or all the facilites
including Laundrey and full use of the garden. Full breakfast is included in the price
of 25? per person per night. Evening meals are 20? which is 4 courses and Wine or Beer.
Children under 6 can stay for free.

The town
The market town of Magnac Laval is situated 17 kms from junction 23b of the A20 it is a
quiet medieval town with 6 bars a large supermarket and several hairdressers and other
shops, there are several decent resturants nearby, there are several marked walks
beside the river Brame and fishing nearby, permits can be bought at the local bars.

The Area
Magnac Laval is in the Haute Vienne region of Limousin, Called the lake District of
France because of its over 1000 lakes, 15 kms from the house is the very large Lac de
St pardoux with its Water sports and beaches and childrens play areas and camping. The
local towns are steeped in history, these include Le Dorat 3 kms Bellac 12kms
Chatreauxponsac 15 kms Montmorrolion 30kms Limoge 50kms Potiers 80 kms The nearest
coast is La Rochelle 2 hrs by car Bordeaux is 3 hrs by car.
