wheat fields, pastures and vineyards, ancient forests, rolling hills and lakes, peaceful
villages and towns of character. Mainly off the beaten tourist track,the region gives
visitors an opportunity to experience the rural heart of France.

On the doorstep
The village of Faverolles en Berry is a centre of many beautiful walks and cycle runs,
all clearly marked.There is a fishing pond and football pitch next to the cottage, and
it is a five minute walk up to the village shop, which sells most things including
bread, croissants and pain au chocolats.There is also a post office and a beautiful
church.

Local facilities
St Aignan sur Cher, ten minutes away by car, provides swimming,water sports,tennis,good
restaurants,a cinema,shopping and the most wonderful zoo,Zoo Parc Beauval. Visit their

are a must.
