ACCOMODATION
The holiday Cottage entrance leads from the orchard onto terraced decking into a large open plan living area with tiled floor and wood ceiling. There are three distinct areas here: a sitting area with games, books and TV/video; dining table seating four;and kitchen area with crockery, cultery and utensils, fridge, microwave, double sink and gas hob. From this room a door leads to the child's bedroom with a single bed and off this room is the toilet and shower room. Further through the Cottage leads to the double room with mirrored wardrobe and window views to the fields and wood beyond. The front door is 90cm wide and the side door is 80cm wide. All on one level from parking to decking to bedrooms.

Charente is half way down France on the West side. It is locked between the stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean from Charente Maritime on one side and the fabulous Dordogne Perigord Region on the other. This makes Charente the ideal Department for exploring both these famous areas, while still holding the charm of discovering secrets of relatively quiet and unspoilt countryside.The charm of old villages, the attractions of chateaux and churches and the lure of ancient history stand side by side with the smells of the traditional markets, the fun of the fairs and the tastes of vintage wine and pineau. Nonac is a small village set in the heart of South Charente. La Chenaie is a peaceful and secluded property with a sprinkling of neighbours and wide countryside views. Cherry Gite is set in the shaded orchard, which is private for guests use. The shared swimming pool will keep you cool on the hot lazy summer days.

We offer supervised Bicycle tours for up to a family of four. These are set at your pace and can be river bank or countryside based. Baby sitting can be arranged for the same day. Also on offer are home visit massage or aromatherapy sessions. (These activities incur a nominal fee.) Nature lovers will marvel at the buzzards, kestrels and owls soaring high in the sky as well as the deer, wild boar and foxes foraging in the trees and clearings.
