Set in a peaceful location, surrounded by acres of sunflowers, the hamlet of La Roche
Elie is only 4 miles from the nearest town with shops, restaurants, boulangeries and
supermarkets. The many villages close by hold interesting and varied weekly markets, or
for the more serious shopper the cities of Poitiers (futuroscope) and Niort are within
40 minutes drive. Also in a 2 hour radius are the cities of Cognac, Bordeaux and the
popular resort of La Rochelle, aswell as the world famous Marais Poitevin better known
as "Green Venice". If you would rather laze by the pool then walnut house has everything
you need to enjoy your stay. The 9mx4.5m pool has a paved area for the sunloungers and
a grassed area with picnic table.
