There is a gazebo in the garden for shade, under which is a garden table and 6 chairs, with a brick bbq. close by, and a table and chairs with umbrella at the front of the gite for the first cup of tea of the day or the last few drinks of a candle lit balmy evening while keeping an ear open for the sleeping children. The pool is 30ft long, 15ft wide and approx 4ft deep, ideal for swimming, splashing about or just keeping cool and is above ground making it safer for children.

Because it is situated at the end of a small settlement of 6 houses with friendly neighbours ( who only speak French but love to meet visitors) , there is total privacy and tranquillity. It provides a true rural French way of life and is unspoilt by tourism, there are empty roads, brilliant night skies, abundance of wild life, inexpensive excellent village restaurants and wonderful local produce markets.

There is so much to discover in this ' undiscovered 'part of France. The immediate area offers bird watching, nature trails, fishing, canoeing, walking, horse riding, rock climbing and mountain biking in the beautiful river gorge 10 mins away,several excellent golf courses and an international go-karting track.
