Le Beau Sejour is a luxury Rural French Farmhouse set on the edge of the beautiful village of Chambon. The property built in 1901, is a large and spacious four bedroom farmhouse, recently renovated but retaining a traditional french feel with many of its original features, it will accommodate 2/3 families or 12 people if travelling with children. There is a fully equipped utility room with all amenities including a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, along with all baby facilities. Outside is a large pool (6 X 3.5 Meters), for sole use of the guests.

Upstairs
Four double bedrooms, 1 super king size, individually decorated and furnished to a good standard. There is a modern fully fitted bathroom, with a white suite, containg a seperate bath and large shower cubicle. Light and airy with plenty of space for move ability with children or older people. Separate downstairs toilet.

Downstairs
The kitchen comes fully equipped with a modern and French style to it, along with a breakfast bar with seating area for quick snacks and morning coffee. The cooker has electric hob and extracter fan. Toaster, kettle deep fat fryer & rotisserie available. There is a fully equipped utility room with all facilities including a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, washing line, iron and ironing board, large free standing fan, protable electric heaters, and separate drinks fridge. The living room has a convienient and modern fire place for atmospheric evening relaxation, with a large and comfortable bed settee, for larger parties. A TV, stereo system, DVD player and playstation are provided with a variety of music, films and games. A cozy wood burner is available for use in the dining area, along with plenty of crockery and cutlery for eating in or out doors. Set in the middle of the room is a beautiful Indian style dining table, which will comfortably seat 6 to 8 people.

Outside
Car parking is available at the front of the house and there is a gated front diveway for added security. The rear of the garden is gated and has plenty of space for children to play. For alfresco dining there is the use of the modern fixed BBQ, and gazebo along with dining table and chairs. A seperate bistro style table and chairs is situated on the rear terrace. The pool has removable ladders for added saftey of little ones and comes with solar heated cover, which will raise the temperature of the water by up to 8 or 10 degrees during the summer months. Games are provided for children and adult entertainment, including outdoor chess and there is a large tennis net along with rackets.

The Resort
Activities: This is great riding country and cycling and a wonderful way to explore the countryside. You can hire horses for an hour or for a day to suit all levels of expertise. An excellent and well established Riding Cente is situated in la Roche Posay offering hire of horses and or lessons of all levels if needed. There are golf courses and good fishing in the rivers. Village fetes, festivals, concerts and productions are held throughout the year. The river La Cruse runs closley by the house (within walking distance) and fishing is popular in the area both with the locals and tourists. Fishing rods available for use. Etang de Bellebouche - Mézières-en-Brenne. One of the largest and most attractive lakes in Brenne. Known primarily for its beach and swimming. Distance from the property around a 20 minute drive.

Golf
La Roche Posay, 8km east of Chambon located in the centre of this spa resort is the Golf du Connetable which is now over 17 years in existence and offers a mature course with fairly narrow tree lined fairways many with dog legs. 18 holes. Golf Loches – Verneuil. Only ten minutes away from the town of Loches is a nine hole golf course. This simple, thoughtfully-designed facility is accessible to players of all levels. It offers high-quality lessons and courses all year round, incorporating the latest teaching aids, and under the supervision of a state- qualified instructor. Golf is also available in other nearby towns such as Poitiers. Golf clubs available for use on request.
